Congressman Alan Grayson Sends Letter to PMG Potter! “I am not convinced that closing the Post Office at the Colonialtown location is the best way to proceed.” Excerpt from letter to PMG 150 people signed petitions at the Colonialtown picket held today from 12 noon thru 2pm. Many customers and businesses alike were told, some hearing about it for the first time, about the postal service’s intensions on closing the Colonialtown location. Congressman Alan Grayson is now standing with the Central Florida Area Local. The Congressman, in a letter address to Postmaster General Potter, wrote, “Ultimately, these closings are not only bad for the Post Office’s customers, but they debilitate the infrastructure of public trust which is most important to the Post Office and our government.” The entire letter can be read at the link below.
