As you know from recent press reports, The United States Postal Service is moving ahead with its plan to reduce mail delivery from the statutorily mandated 6 days to 5 days.  Mail delivery is not only a vital part of the nation's economy, but also provides the timely delivery of much needed goods and services, such as medicines, payroll and government checks to all segments of our society. Rep. Sam Graves (R-MO) has introduced H RES 173, "Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the United States Postal Service should take all appropriate measures to ensure the continuation of its 6-day mail delivery service.
